Example Cover Art - Powderfinger

Star Image
The album cover includes icons that will make it recognisable such as the grey scale face, the purple circles, and the artists font and colours that pop out of the image.

Organic VS Synthetic
The artist is organic since they use a human face on the front of their album. However this face is distorted meaning that the artist is not sold on their looks.

Who will be the Target Audience?
The target audience is most likely to be men as the cover illustrates a woman.
This is because men would pick up an album that attracts their eyes. This is because of the male gaze associated with male bands.

To create our cover art, I pressed the image button on the top bar, adjust and replace colours, we replaced the colour image to be black and white

Then you can tweak the colours using the colour balance tool

Use the ellipses tool to make a circle, do this while pressing control on the keyboard and it will make a perfect circle

Then to make the circle, fill with the colour chosen. Double click the colour tab at the bottom of the left side panel and it should give you an option to select fill, then chose Foreground Colour.

Then finish by adding text to the top of the album cover. Add this by going to the A icon on the left side panel. The artist is 'Powderfinger' and then the title of the album is 'Vulture Street'.
