Set Design

Our main setting would be in an art studio:

We would want the walls to be adorned with past paintings done by the artist, this adds a sense of depth into our plot, and makes our video more believable.

Painting paraphernalia including easels, paint pots, brushes etc.
This would increase the validity and increase the magnitude of the effectiveness of the micro-cosmic world we created (Verisimilitude)

We also want to include a desk/table into the set design so that when the girls come in for their interview, it seems professional and also the table should be able to adapt in the environment we put it into. Since we want to use it when painting and also when choosing his model.

This table may be transferable so that it works in the art style room, it could be cluttered with other arty objects such as vases.

We would need a chair/stool for the model to
sit on while the artists paints her.

This adds to the effectiveness of the overall world we are creating.

However because there is so many props we need for the scene it is going to be hard to place props in the right places for continuity reasons.

We have also gained permission to film shots in a Local Cafe, we are unable to change the design of the cafe to our specifications. However it is fine how it is, since the Cafe sign is clearly visible which allows for the viewer to easily identify the set, and also there is a large glass display that we can use, which the artist places the notice requiring models, which is essential to our plot.

The other set is a living room where the painter sees the girl with her boyfriend.

We wanted it to look as realistic as possible and only including certain furniture such as a couch/bed and a TV

This is fairly simplistic so that nothing can change in this setting, so we don't need to remember where props are placed, for continuity reasons.
