Due to our song being by a synthetic artist, we have chosen
a particular teenage target audience from ages 12 - 20; this is because the boy
band fans usually consist of teenage girls of this age.
Our idea, to contradict the song came to us because we
didn't want the same old clichéd girl meets boy and subsequently falls in love. We wanted to
show the audience the true reality and hardships of love. We have selected 12 -
20 year old because that is the time when people start to become interested in
the opposite sex, and start to experience relationships. We wanted to portray
the reality of love and all the baggage that comes with it.
We did this because we wanted to have a twist on it, and do
something different, and, as stated above, not do the stereotypical love story.
